Ballymakenny College
King Comms NI ltd recently completed a contract to install 500 Cat 6a points in Ballymakenny College, Drogheda. The state of the art installation was designed to future proof networks with a 10 gigabyte horizontal and backbone cabling infrastructure. 4 x 42 U cabinets, all linked by 8 core OM4 fibres and multicore telephone cables, were installed throughout the school with associated cabling to carry ancillary services such as phones, data, alarm and lift emergency lines.
